"This friendship that exists between both countries in the American Continent…This understanding that exits is something which strengthens democracy". Leonel Fernandez, the acting president of the Dominican Republic.

On the third day of the "Business reunion between fathers and sons" the groundwork for a reunion was laid out between the Dominican President Leonel Hernandez and the Ecuadorian businessman Alvaro Noboa. Fernandez and Noboa spoke for about fifteen minutes.

Alvaro Noboa congratulated the head of state on his reelection, a veritable landslide endorsed by the Dominican Population. "I want to point out in Ecuador's and the world's sake that there is great joy in the fact that you have been reelected because your excellent leadership as head of state four years back is a fact which has become public knowledge with an ever expanding wide consensus. Among the Dominican population…Congratulations.

Leonel Fernandez who will be inducted as head of state next august let his complacency be known about the businessmen in attendance in his country. Furthermore the Ecuadorian businessman showed interest in investing in this Central American country.
