Ecuadorians,
I
call on God's inspiration for this presentation I am about
to put forth. I come before you because even though there
are a good many Ecuadorians who have a clear image of Alvaro
Noboa, there are also a number of citizens who do not. Since
my political adversaries have been busy tarnishing my image,
I feel it is best you learn about it from me. |

I
was born on November 21 St, 1950 in the city of Guayaquil.
My father was Luis Noboa and my mother is Mrs. Isabel Pontón.
I was always the best student in high school, both at the
San José La Salle High School in Guayaquil as well
as the Le Rosey School in Switzerland. I entered the Guayaquil
State University and later on I graduated as a lawyer. I also
took Business Administration courses at the American Management
Association in New York.
I am trilingual that is I am conversant in English, French,
and Spanish. |
| |
I
have worked from the age of nineteen since the Ecuadorian
Study System allows you to work and study at the same time. |

I have established several concerns such as Promandato Global,
a construction company that has been involved in extensive
housing development. Today it is reputed as the real state
company with the most extensive property holdings. |
| |
I also started the Banco del Litoral (a bank) considered a
grade "A" Institution and one of the most solid
banks in Ecuador. |

Noboa Pontón family:
Ma.Elena, Luis A. Noboa, Isabel Pontón, Diana, Isabel,
Álvaro and María Leonor. |
| |
I
established Financiera Global (financing company), "La
Verdad" magazine, and the Fundación Cruzada
Nueva Humanidad (Foundation Crusade for a New Humanity)
in all of which I have invested twenty years of hard work
on behalf of the poor.
I later acquired several
enterprises and, at the moment,
|
| |
I
manage one hundred and ten companies the world over.
Even though my adversaries refer to me as "The Heir"
I have only inherited 1% of my wealth, the rest I have either
created or acquired through hard work. |

Those
companies I established through personal effort were obtained
from the time I was nineteen until my father's deceasement
when I was forty-three. These companies were set up with
the support of such people as Sucre Pérez Baquerizo,
Francisco Pino Maulme, and Rodrigo Icaza.
