Ecuadorians:

why do they want Noboa banana exporting to be charged $ 90 million extra dollars in taxes and the other exporters are not being charge a single extra penny?
Take a look at this picture with the payment of the taxes 2005 of several exporters.

Although all banana exporters had paid on average U.S. $ 250,000 income taxes (that means, they have declared on average a million dollars of profits), the IRS of Rafael Correa's government wants only Exportadora Bananera Noboa to pay $ 90 million extra dollars.

That is not persecution?, That it is not a real political persecution?, That is not discrimination?,

How are they going to explain this to Ecuador and the world?

If the glos of Banana Exporting Noboa would be apply to all banana exporters in the same way, the glos for the banana industry would be more than U.S. $ 2,000 million for the year 2005 and would be in similar numbers for 2006, 2007, and 2008.

With a glosa like those the northamerican enterprices: Chiquita, Dole, Del Monte, and other ecuadorian exporters would close their bussiness in Ecuador and the whole world. How absurd!!

More crisis in Ecuador, more unemployment. This could cause the destruction of these companies and the banana business in Ecuador.

There are more than one million Ecuadorians working in the banana business. If the authorities destroy the banana industry the crisis would increase Mahuad banking crisis of 2000. We think the authorities are committing a criminal and tax offense. We have been informed that Noboa Banana Exporting will prosecute the authorities for this injustice and will be made public by the media every step in these criminal and tax trial so that there won't be influence or pressure from the authorities in courts.

The authorities should be punished for this crime if confirmed by the courts, and we hope that justice is done to avoid an economic collapse in Ecuador.

We have been informed that Noboa Banana Exporter has submitted an application for review within the IRS whose process will also be public and transparent so that everyone in Ecuador could stay informed.

The greatest justice is the public justice!

We will make homeland, ecuadorian people. Work to ensure that there is work, work for justice, independence in courts and freedom for press in Ecuador.

Do they want to break Noboa Banana Exporter and do they want ecuadorian bananas to remain unsold? Do ythey want to grab all the banana industry breaking it first?, Will they go after all companies from Noboa Group?, Do they want us to remain in silence?

No, we won't allow it!
