So gentlemen, regarding the aforementioned destitution of
our leader counselor Álvaro Noboa as assemblyman,
we who make-up the PRIAN political party wish to express
to the people of Ecuador that Álvaro Noboa complied
in presenting his income tax return corresponding to the
2006 period to the National Constitutional Assembly as he
was requested to do so as he also complied with the certificate
required by the internal revenue service however he did
not deliver his sworn statement declaring his assets as
he had already anticipated during his speech at the National
Assembly on the 28th of December. He will not comply because
there isn't a single constitutional guarantee in existence
in this country today where there is no respect for the
constitution. They are merely waiting, as they had mentioned
before, for Álvaro Noboa to present his asset declaration,
so that, if only a coma was omitted, or a bicycle from infancy
they would initiate penal action against him . To avoid
such persecution, Álvaro Noboa adopted such a decision
on the very same day that the national constitutional assembly
in an unconstitutional illegal and unique manner in ecuadorian
history approved a group of tax laws dedicated directly
to Álvaro Noboa for his only sin of affording health,
education and housing to the poor. This persecution is not
recent.
The people of Ecuador have witnessed how we have been absurdly
illegally and unconstitutionally fined in the amount of
$6'300000 dollars for the sin of not having voted in favor
of amnesty for Abdala Bucaram. We wish to denounce the persecution
directed towards our leader Álvaro Noboa and all
of us who make - up the PRIAN political party (PRIAN).
We will not file any international complaints
what he will do is stand by the people to defend their
interests as Álvaro Noboa has always done.
