Alvaro Noboa clarifies to President Correa his publications in foreign newspapers

This afternoon the Ecuadorian businessman Alvaro Noboa gave a press conference to clarify to President Correa that the publications he made in foreign journals were 12 recommendations to better administrate Ecuador.

“It´s a shame he did not read the more than 12 recommendations on how to better administrate the country, which was one of the most important topics in my publication of the New York Times,” Noboa said.

Noboa said he wanted to help the president “because by helping him, I would help the country,” – and added- “my advice could help to improve the economy of Ecuador.”

On the adjectives used by Correa, Noboa said he would respond politely and would not put on his level as head of state.
