INSECURITY AND DRUGS MAKE NO TRUCE
IN THE JUAN MONTALVO HOUSING COOPERATIVE
Candidates of the Guayas District # 2, of the Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante party, accompanied by Annabella Azin de Noboa, visited the Juan Montalvo Housing Cooperative, in the north of Guayaquil, and listened to the problems people who live there are experiencing while presenting their work plan upon arriving at the Assembly.
Insecurity and the sale of drugs are two points that keep the residents in a state of anxiety, as they claim that the lack of police patrols would favor the retailers of these toxic substances.
“It ‘d be nice if the police not only patrols the main roads but the surrounding sectors, the alternative routes because you can currently see many young people falling into the path to perdition,” said Wilson Moreno, a family man.
Abigail Pizarro said that the lack of employment had affected her family, a promise that ha snot been fulfilled by the president in 10 years of government. She also asked that the state aid should be granted to people who really need it “because there are people who take it and have all the resources and those who need it do not count on this aid.”
