The winners of the International Photography Competition Alvaro Noboa will be rewarded today

Today, Wednesday 28, January, the awards ceremony of the First International Biennial of Photography organized by the Luis Noboa Naranjo Museum will be held. Of 200 photographs that were admitted, only six were chosen.

The finalists are: Patricipio Ruilova from Ecuador, Leonardo Ampuero from Chile, Harold Ferrer from Cuba, Vegoña Lozano from España, Sergei Reboredo from España and Corneliu Tofan from Rumania.

The national newspaper, El Universo, made a publication on the event called International Photography Contest Alvaro Noboa. Pablo Martinez, director of the museum, told the newspaper that he feels satisfied by the massive participation.

The winners will be chosen by a jury composed of Priscilla Parker from Chantal Fontaine, Fabian Peñaherrera, Eduardo Salvador and Alberto Coral.

The first prize is $ 3.000; the second $ 2.000; and the third $ 1.000.

Additionally, the “Best old Photography” category has been established. The award for this category is $ 1.000 and the ecuadorian, Gina Garcia won with her work entitled: Urban Transport 1956.
