On Sunday, December 9,\u00a0Hoy\u00a0<\/em>newspaper<\/a>\u00a0published the precise proposals of candidate for President of the Republic and PRIAN leader, \u00c1lvaro Noboa<\/strong>, based on the efficiency\u00a0 of the public sector.<\/p>\n

Productive Rehabilitation Centers.\u00a0 Immediate hearing and sentencing for minor crimes carrying sentences of up to one year. The centers will be transformed into centers of production to ensure rehabilitation and access to work.<\/p>\n

All government employees, including judges, will be submitted to international evaluations with parameters of honesty, efficiency and productivity.<\/p>\n

Government companies will be evaluated for outcomes.\u00a0 Those that do not generate profits will be declared unproductive. This procedure will change bad public administration.<\/p>\n

Accelerated processing that should be handled within a 3-day timeframe for the creation of businesses.<\/p>\n

Priority to be given to infrastructure and loans to the hotel sector. The objective is to encourage tourism and to transform Ecuador into a destination country with more than two million foreign visitors.<\/p>\n

Scholarship for top students for study abroad in centers of the highest renown.\u00a0 Employment and good compensation is assured for those who return to the country.\u00a0 1 BILLION DOLLARS IS EARMARKED.<\/p>\n

Police stations will be changed into agencies of criminal investigation. Police legislation will be modified to achieve the professionalization of the police force. Mayors and Chiefs of Police will coordinate the tasks for the prevention of crime and for control.<\/p>\n

Transformation of legal norms to regulate working hours and seasons.<\/p>\n

Less taxes, more contributors. The establishment of clear rules regarding the payment of taxes under the principle that lower taxes incentivizes investment is proposed.<\/p>\n
