During his tour of the Martha de Roldos area on Tuesday evening, Presidential candidate \u00c1lvaro Noboa listened to residents of the zone who expressed their uneasiness with the increase in prices of basic provisions of prime necessity.\u00a0 Noboa verified that prices have risen for rice, sugar, oil and vegetables in general because of the lack of support for agricultural producers and the lack of supplies in those zones.<\/p>\n

Noboa toured the sector in the company of District 3 Assembly Member candidates, headed by, among others, Luis Noboa, Cecilia Freire and Wilson S\u00e1nchez Campos with whom he confirmed the lack of attention for basic services. Noboa committed himself to putting a halt to speculation on prices for basic needs.\u00a0 \u201cThe lack of support for farmers means that the prices of provisions rise and as a good farmer, I know how to support all farmers with supplies and training so that, in that way, they can produce top quality and cheaper food goods.\u201d<\/p>\n
