The PRIAN Presidential candidate, Álvaro Noboa, toured Balzar and exhorted the farmers to vote Correa out of power.

“I am here in Balzar, a completely agricultural zone in Ecuador. The farmers complain that they don’t receive a fair price for their products and that the costs of supplies has skyrocketed, which causes them to lose money.

That’s what happens to the corn growers, to the producers of soy, to the producers of palm kernel oil, the rice producers and the banana producers, and in the Sierra it happens to the fruit, flower and plant producers.

Therefore, in order for farmers to leave losses behind , and to remove themselves from poverty, one has to vote Correa out of power.”

“In my Presidency, I will ensure that farmers will earn money.” Álvaro Noboa.
