July 8th, 2011

Ladies and gentlemen:

Welcome to the Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum.

Meeting the agenda of introducing the best plastic artists and famous musicians, we are pleased to have the impeccable, filled with magic presence of the master of the spatula and the drawing, the well-known visual artist Marcelo Martínez Arroyo.

In addition, the Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum has brought from Miami the classic guitarist and music teacher Francisco Burgos Freile.

When speaking of Marcelo Martínez Arroyo, we have to highlight his originality when he produces an Exhibition for the Museum in which the beauty of the latin woman is enforced. To do so, he has used famous latin models from different countries such as: Gabriela Macchi from Argentina, Marjuri Galarza from Bolivia, Erika Vélez from Ecuador, Kirenia (Kiki) Pérez from Cuba, Rocío da Silva from Uruguay, Paloma Fiuza from Brazil.

Models who selflessly lent their image so Marcelo could capture them on the canvas in a away that only he knows. But not satisfied with this display of energy and movement in the work with the models, he also introduces two series, “Lake Flowers” and “Women Flowers”, proving he is an autodidact master who can join the human being with nature and the living beings with the environment.

Also, he complements and tops his exhibition with still-lifes, seascapes, landscapes and vases.

Congratulations, Marcelo, and thank you very much to all of you once again for coming.
