I told them that this was going to happen and it is happening today, today, in the provinces of El Oro, Los Ríos and Guayas. We do not ask the government for money, we ask the authorities to demand payment for the box of bananas at 6.25, according to the law. Day by day small Ecuadorian growers will lose their jobs and small and large entrepreneurs will lose their companies. Ecuadorians, let us shout and demand our rights from the authorities who are to blame for not listening to us. They make us wait day after day on our banana problem, also making millions of Ecuadorians lose their jobs day after day and bankrupting our banana farms.
